RStudio installation
1 Download and install RStudio
Installation of RStudio is straight forward:
Install RStudio via SDU ITs Software Center.
You will find the RStudio installation program for your operating system on the RStudio website
1.1 Step 1
There are four different programs – make sure, you download the one entitled RStudio Desktop Open Source License Free. Click the blue ‘DOWNLOAD’ button.
1.2 Step 2
You will now be presented with several download options – make sure you choose the download appropriate for your operating system (click the blue text link in the column ‘Download’).

Choose the right link in the column Download: Windows, MacOS or your Linux distribution.
Install the program as per usual procedure for your operating system.
Once you have installed RStudio, check that it is functional, by running it like any other GUI program on your operating system.

Du vil nu blive præsenteret for flere downloadmuligheder – sørg for at vælge den download, der passer til dit operativsystem (klik på det blå tekstlink i kolonnen ‘Download’).

2.3 Vigtigt
Vælg det rigtige link i kolonnen Download: Windows, MacOS eller din Linux-distribution.
Installer programmet som den sædvanlige procedure for dit operativsystem.
Når du har installeret RStudio, skal du kontrollere, at det er funktionelt, ved at køre det som ethvert andet GUI-program på dit operativsystem.
